Auto text expander for word Pc#
Save In: Normal.dotm (my work pc only gives me a "normal" option.maybe this is the problem) Name: (whatever.mine defaults to the first several letters/spaces and I just leave it) Choose the option "Save to Quick Parts Gallery" Highlight the word(s) or phrase you want to saveĤ. I keep playing with my work pc by deleting then re-adding and trying all the options, it eventually seems to work.Īt home I use the following settings and it seems to work fine.ġ. and it is used only to type medical reports. any further suggestions ? i have only had this computer for less than 2 months. i also went to insert tab, quick parts, building block organizer and they are all there under normal. any suggestions on that ? and if the text shows up in auto text, would that not mean it is saved in the correct place ?Īnd why randomly ? i use the same template over and over again so i am not understanding why it is not working and working as a medical trascriptionist that has added a considerable amount of work for me having to type these repetitive statements again andĪgain. after typing approximately 30 letters the auto text box shows up only a handful of times. example, i type medical reports and one doctor says "with kindest i checked and i have one normal template. all the ones i use show up in the autotext gallery they just randomly and sporadically show up when i am typing.
